The staff and residents of Ave Maria Village welcome you to our website. We are a not-for-profit, faith-based organization, sponsored by the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation. This year we celebrate 50 years of service to the Jamestown region. Ave Maria Village specializes in short-term post-acute rehabilitation, as well as traditional long-term care. As a Christian ministry, we strive to provide care in the spirit of Jesus Christ to all who come to us for service. Currently we have a professional staff of 180 full- and part-time individuals, who are instrumental in putting this mission into action. The Sisters are our inspiration as we strive to be Jesus on a daily basis to everyone with whom we have contact.
Please explore our site to learn more about us. We invite you to stop by, call, or email us anytime if we can help you in any way.
Take a look at our Capital Campaign brochure to learn more about our plan to better serve our residents, their families, and the staff at Ave Maria Village.
Our capital campaign for the construction of a new chapel, transportation center, and family suite is well on the way in cash and pledges to reach our goal of $1,325,000. We continue to seek donors large and small to help make this dream a reality.
We are proud to announce that the family suite has been named the Rev. N.E. & Lillian McCoy Family Suite. The McCoy's served the Jamestown community from 1937 until Rev. McCoy's death in 1992. The ministry continues today under the direction of daughter Arva Dell and grandson Bryce Tahran.
Donations can now be made for the campaign as a whole, or you can apply your donation to the Chapel, Transport Center or McCoy Suite.
You may contribute using the attached gift form or go on-line at www.avemariavillage.org to make your donation.
There are few callings more important than to care for the frail elderly and those who can't live independently or care for themselves any longer. We are a modern-day extension of the healing ministry of Jesus Himself. Eventually all of us will reach a point in our lives when we will need help, and a considerable number will end up needing the services of an assisted living or skilled nursing facility. I ask you to think about how you can help make our project a reality.
Thank you so much for your prayers and other kind expressions of support. May God bless you richly.
